The Joeys love the experience of travelling on the Trams and hearing about the different types of trams. This is an awesome experience well worth taking the time to enjoy.

Hiking to the Park

With our torches at the ready we set off from the den for our hike to the park.

Mother's Pamper Night

 We welcomed our Mum's just after Mother's Day for a wonderful (cough cough) luxurious pamper session.  Our Joeys massaged Mum's hands and then did an amazing job of painting fingernails.  We had made some cards and silhouette pictures for Mum to keep and also shared some choccies with her.

 

When then got down into to fun stuff and played some parachute games which the Mum's were really good at.  Thanks for being our Mum's without you so much amazing stuff would never even be possible. We love our Mums

Rover Olympics

Our Rovers came to visit and ran some Olympic games for us.  Complete with Medals at the end.  Thanks Rovers

Anzac Day

What an amazing display of honour our Joeys showed as they proudly marched for Anzac Day.

 

Well done to you all for the respect you showed to our current and passed service men and women who have bravely sacrificed themselves for our country.

Linking to Cubs

We Farewelled Hamish and Ryan today as they have completed their link badge and now moved on to the Cub Pack.  Good luck boys we hope you enjoy your next steps in your scouting journey.

 

Promise Challenge Badge Presentations

 

The Promise Challenge Badge is the only individually attained badge in the Joey Section and it is for older Joeys to work towards. As part of this badge the Joeys learn a little more about BP our Scouting Founder.

 

Charlie and Ryan have both worked very hard to achieve this badge.  BRAVO boys and well done on your achievement.

 

 

Joeys on Parade

It is just fantastic to see our Joeys on parade.  They really are taking to it with the respect it deserves and it is wonderful to see our group so big. 

Harmony Day 2013

 

We have shared in some activities to be involved in Harmony Day celebrations this year.  All of our Joeys have received a certificate and special badge to go on your camp blanket.

Welcome to 2013

We are back and have started the year with a bang.  Welcome back to all our Joeys and Families from last year it is great that you have returned for more adventures with us.  We have also welcomed some new families into our Mob.  Daniel and Samuel have both been invested into our mob since the beginning of the year.   Welcome to you both and we hope you enjoy your journey with us.

Our Bring a Friend night has also welcomed a few new faces and we hope that you enjoyed your time with us and are thinking about joining our group.

Parents if you have any questions about Joeys or how things are run please do not hesitate to ask us.  After Joeys is usually the best time to catch us as before we are trying to get everything organised and ready for the night.

Australian Jamboree Future Scout Day

 We took the advantage of the chance to visit our Scout Troup at the Australian Jamboree in January.  It was a wonderful day that Jordan and Caleb had a chance to experience a little of what Jamboree is all about.  A very hot full day which was a lot of fun for all of us.
